Kokkola’s enclosure opens for business

Finland’s Port of Kokkola, in the Gulf of Bothnia, has commissioned its all weather terminal (AWT) to cater for core local export commodities, mainly zinc ingots from the nearby Boliden smelter. The facility, the first of its kind in Finland, can be marketed to shippers or importers of other weather-sensitive, breakbulk lo-lo cargoes and it also has container handling capability.
