APM Terminals (APMT) has signed a contract with Conductix-Wampfler for the electrification of RTGs at LCB Container Terminal 1 Ltd, Laem Chabang.

The new €1M (US$1.1B) contract is part of APMT’s ongoing programme, announced more than a year ago, to convert around 400 RTGs it has in operation worldwide to hybrid drive or electrical grid power.
