Maersk has called for JadeWeser-Port to be deferred for 2-3 years.

The JadeWeserPort (JWP) deep water container terminal project has never had an easy ride. It took ages to get approval, only to be beset by difficulties during the bidding procedure. These were followed by even more serious problems when the construction contracts were awarded, to say nothing of all the environmental hurdles along the way.
