HHLA has revised its 2024 forecast upward, citing strong transport volumes and earnings despite global challenges affecting shipping routes.

HHLA’s Q1 2024 revenue and earnings declined due to global crises and the Red Sea conflict, with revenue down 0.3% and EBIT down 23.9%, resulting in a net loss of EUR 1.1 million.

Container throughput at HHLA’s container terminals decreased year-on-year by 7.5 per cent to 5,917 thousand TEU (previous year: 6,396 thousand TEU).
