Konecranes will acquire the container handling truck business of Kion Group’s Linde brand. The announcement follows the announcement from Kion Group at the end of January that it was minded to close its Linde Heavy Truck Division production facility in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, although its timing appears to foreclose on the 90-day consultation period with the unions.
