Cartagena operator Contecar is seeking a strategic partner to enable it to compete more effectively with the port’s leading container terminal, SPRC Sociedad Regional Portuaria de Cartagena SA.Contecar’s majority owner, the National Coffee Federation, wants to concentrate on core business and is in the process of selling off non-core asstes, such as its 67 percent stake in Contecar.
