Izmir sale on hold

The sale of the Port of Izmir to a consortium made up of Hutchison Port Holdings (HPH) and the Aegean Exporters Union (EIB) has been blocked after the Turkish Council of State Administrative Trials Board ruled for a stay of execution in the privatisation process.
