MMC buys PTP stake

Malaysia Mining Corp (MMC) has agreed to pay M$1.65 bill (US$433 mill) for a 50.1 per cent interest in the Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP).

The stake is being acquired from Seaport Terminal in a cash and stock transaction. MMC will pay M$630 mill in cash and issue 338.7 mill new shares at M$3 to Seaport Terminal.
