Copenhagen Malmö and Helsingborg to team up?

Helsingborgs Hamn AB (HHAB), the port authority and operator at the Swedish port of Helsingborg, and Copenhagen Malmö Port AB (CMP AB) have signed a letter of intent to investigate the scope for creating a joint port authority.

The boards of both companies have agreed to look into the possibility of enhanced cooperation between the two port operators with a view to creating a “strong new port operation for the Øresund region, providing a broader range of services and an improved customer offering.”
