Chittagong hits 2M TEU

The port of Chittagong, Bangladesh, handled a record number of containers in 2015 and, in the process, broke through the 2M TEU barrier. Total throughput of 2,008,445 TEU was up more than 16% on its 2014 level. In absolute terms, the volume of traffic handled at Chittagong has increased by almost 700,000 TEU since 2011.
