CMA CGM, OTIs pay US$2.3m in penalties

CMA-CGM’s VILLE D’ORION suffered a deck stow collapse recently and, according to the US Coast Guard, 69 containers were damaged. There were no injuries, no containers were lost overboard and no “hazmat” problems.
