Bertschi Group is installing smart sensors from Nexiot AG on its tank containers, to monitor the temperature of dangerous goods and help ensure safe delivery of consignments. Data are sent to a control centre, enabling Bertschi to monitor the temperature of the product in the tank, as well as the steam heater pipes, in real time. Nexiot’s solar-powered devices update the control system with messages at five-minute intervals.
