ICTSI’s TecPlata terminal achieves 10-metre depth, targets 14m next
NewsICTSI’s TecPlata terminal has dredged its marine channels to a depth of 10 metres, with plans to deepen them further to 14 metres.
International Container Terminal Services, Inc (ICTSI) has won the 10-year (+ 5 years option) concession for Tartous Container Terminal (TCT) in Syria, after outbidding three other contenders – CMA CGM, Kuwait and Gulf Link Transport/Gulf Stevedoring and OPM/ PWC Logistics.ICTSI will pay the port authority, Tartous Port General Co (TPGC), a yearly fixed and variable fee per TEU.
