Florida ports halt vessel traffic amid Hurricane Helene
NewsPorts across Florida have suspended vessel operations as Hurricane Helene makes landfall.
Eight years after a bridge on the line was put out of use by Hurricane Wilma, the Florida East Coast Railroad (FEC) has restored the line linking its Haileah terminal to the Port of Miami. The project cost around US$50M and was part-funded through a US$22M TIGER Grant announced in 2011.
