Green light for ECT takeover

The European Commission (EC) has conditionally cleared the takeover of ECT by a consortium comprising Hutchison Port Holdings (HPH), Rotterdam Municipal Port Management (GHR) and ABN AMRO Participations, in the respective 35 per cent, 35 per cent and 28 per cent proportions. (An employees’ fund has the other two per cent).
