There is growing concern in Holland and Germany about the lack of connectivity over the Betuwe line, the brand new dedicated freight rail line that runs between the seaports of Rotterdam and Amsterdam and the German border near Emmerich, due to the completely outmoded and inadequate network in that part of Germany.
