Estonia-based Baltic Rail Services (BRS) has offered for sale its 66% controlling interest in Eesti Raudtee (Estonian Railways). The Estonian government, which owns the remaining 34%, was seen as the most likely buyer, but BRS recently announced that it was pulling out of its “marathon negotiation” with the government in view of the unwillingness of the latter “to take a sound decision.”
