HPH launches new Mexican wave

Undeterred at losing out to LC Terminal Portuaria de Contenedores SA de CV (LCT) in the bidding for the concession to develop and operate container handling facilities at the Port of Làzaro Cardenas on the Pacific coast of Mexico (see WorldCargo News April 2003, p7), Hutchison Port Holdings (HPH) has “slipped in through the back door” and acquired a 51 percent stake in LCT itself.
