The process of awarding private sector contracts to manage Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA)’s facilities has finally begun. The Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) selected one of the Lagos ports, Apapa, as the first to be put out to tender and expressions of interest were received as long ago as 2003.
