Bintulu International Container Terminal (BICT) at Malaysia’s Bintulu Port is to acquire two new container gantry cranes within two years in anticipation of increased throughput, although no timetable has been specified. BICT’s two existing post-Panamax cranes from Impsa were commissioned in February 1999, a few months before it launched full operations.
