Myanmar deepsea port plan

Thailand and Myanmar have started building a deepwater port at Dawei in Myanmar’s Tanintharyi district as part of their economic cooperation strategy with Cambodia and Laos. Agreement on the project was reached at a summit of the four countries in Myanmar’s Bagan city in November.
