The Buss Kuhwerder Terminal in Hamburg (shed 69/73) will be closed for liner shipping activities by the end of this year, following a review of the Buss Group’s business activities by the consultancy from Profunda.

The group has already taken the first step towards reorganisation by selling its share in DeCeTe Container Terminal Duisburg to United Depots Container Services GmbH, a Carl Tiedemann business unit with facilities in Hamburg, Bremen, Antwerp and Budapest. Negotiations to sell Buss’ interest in 11 other inland depots/terminals are under way.
