Speaking at a press conference at TOC Europe in Hamburg this month, Navis’s new president, Benoît de la Tour, said the company is prepared to make acquisitions to deepen and broaden its software portfolio. De la Tour is also the head of software for Kalmar, and some of the acquisitions could be more closely aligned with Kalmar’s XVELA initiative than Navis’s more operationally focused applications.
