Ukraine and Russia have re-established the Crimea-Caucasus train ferry service, which was discontinued 15 years ago. The service is supposed to be the last link in a railway chain from Central Asia to Europe as Aktau-Makhachkala and Turkmenbashi-Makhachkala trans-Caspian services have already been launched.
