BCDTA reports accident drop

The British Chemical Distributors and Traders Association (BCDTA) reports that the number of dangerous incidents which occur during the transport of chemicals by its members has halved over the last five years.

The information is given in BCDTA’s newly published Responsible Care Performance Report for 1999, a document which shows a generally improving safety record.
