As briefly reported in last month’s issue of WorldCargo News (p1), Liebherr is building a post-Panamax (46m/16-wide outreach) crane for the Port of Lyttelton, New Zealand. Features include 19m rail gauge, 14.5m backreach, lift height of 34m above rail and capacity under the spreader of 60 tonnes for twinlift operations with a separating type twin spreader.
