Reflecting the significant downturn in demand for new containers from the second quarter of this year, China International Marine Containers (CIMC) has posted a 29 per cent dip in 2005 third quarter earnings to Yuan598.61 mill (US$74 mill) from Yuan848.02 mill in the same quarter of 2004.
