Mocont finds the elusive reach stacker

A new real-time container location system using D-GPS and inertial navigation is said to be effective even with reach stackers. The “Mocont” real-time tracking system has been developed by a European consortium led by Sciro Srl, a Genoa-based consultancy set up by Prof Beppe Sciutto (who was president of Savona-Vado Port Authority from 1996 to 2000).
