Liebherr-Werk Nenzing (LWN) is introducing individual wheel drive to its LRS 645 reach stacker with hydrostatic transmission, introduced in 2004. Independent wheel drive is a standard feature of LWN’s harbour mobile cranes.The development on the LRS645, says the company, “offers outstanding opportunities such as minimising side forces on the steer wheels and more effective driving gear.”
