New offtake deal propels Maersk to meet over half of its 2027 methanol demand
NewsMaersk has secured combined offtake agreements that now meet over 50% of the projected demand for its dual-fuel methanol vessels in 2027.
It seems that not a month passes without a new and larger containership being delivered. In December, msc oscar – built by South Korea’s Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering group – officially became the largest containership in the world, with a nominated loading capacity of 19,224 TEU.
