NewsConFoot Ltd has developed a version of its container legs with integrated scales for weighing containers.
Carrier adds Purfresh
Carrier Transicold has signed an exclusive agreement with Purfresh Inc to offer the Purfresh Transport ozone-enhanced controlled atmosphere system as an option on it PrimeLINE, EliteLINE, and ThinLINE refrigeration units.
Available for use with a MicroLink 2i or newer microprocessor controller, the Purfresh Transport model 2100 mounts to the refrigeration systems in place of the evaporator fan access panel. The system generates and injects minute amounts of ozone to actively purify air and surfaces in the container, helping to eliminate mould, yeast and microscopic bacteria that can ruin a load of perishables.
