Ocean Shipping Consultants Ltd (OSC)’s latest long-range, container traffic forecasts for northern Europe, current until March-April next year, indicate that, depending on the economic scenario, total container port demand in this macro-region will increase within a range of 58-69 percent to 49.51-53.01 mill TEU/year in the 2001-10 period. Further expansion of 25-31 percent is forecast to 62.0569.19 mill TEU/year over 2010-2015.
