Netherlands-based terminal tractor manufacturer Terberg Benschop BV has acquired a majority stake (51%) in one of its most active European distributors and service agents, Manuport Srl in Genoa.

Paris-based Bolloré Africa Logistics (BAL) has added significant container handling capacity at its Togo Terminal in the port of Lomé with the commissioning of a third wharf. The new berth, which is 450m in length, raises the terminal’s total quay line to 920m and its throughput capacity to around 1.2M TEU/year.

Consistent with its policy of reducing the carbon footprint of its new Asyaport deep water container terminal on the Marmara Sea (for which E-RTGs have already been ordered), Global Terminal Ltd (GTL), the 70:30 TIL/ MSC and Soyeur Group (Ahmet Soyeur) company, has placed an order for 40 LNG terminal tractors from Terberg Benschop BV.
