Noatum is aiming to introduce automated truck gate operations at its Bilbao container terminal this June, and, together with the port authority (APB), has been consulting with shipping agents, forwarders and hauliers to enable them to adapt to the physical relocation of the gate in order to accommodate the new bi-directional (according to demand) pre-gate process, the OCR portal for moving trucks, and complementary telematic systems.
