Copenhagen Malmo Port AB (CMP) is to become the Nordic hub for Toyota Motor Europe. Under a 25-year deal, the twin port company will invest €12.5 mill in a new car terminal in Malmo occupying 22 hectares with associated workshops, washing halls, connections to road and rail links etc, and €11.4 mill on new berths and deeper approaches. The terminal should be ready next January and the berths and deepening project will be completed by January 2005.
