Suttons expanding niche role
While continuing to concentrate on providing shippers of specialised products with value-added tank container services, Suttons International is currently expanding its traditional niche role with a major newbuilding programme.
Over the course of 2002, the UKbased tank operator has taken delivery of 50 swap tanks from Van Hool, 100 units from UBH, including baffled and “chiller” tanks, and 100 tanks from Welfit Oddy. In addition, 10 tanks were ordered from CIMC in China for use in that country’s emerging tank market.
