Manila-based (ICTSI) holds the trump card in the planned privatisation of CT-1 (Phase I) of the new Subic container terminal being built at the former US naval base. Under the “Swiss style” bidding, said to have been approved by the Office of the President, ICTSI is to make the initial offer with the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) soliciting counteroffers from other parties.
