Liverpool to build £6M fresh produce terminal

A new £6M fresh produce terminal, Liverpool Produce Terminal (LPT), is to be built in Liverpool alongside the Royal Seaforth Container Terminal and the site of the port’s planned £100M post-Panamax River Container Terminal. The new facility, says the port, will offer a cost effective allwater alternative to the 300 trucks arriving in Britain with fruit from Spain every day.
