New crane for Emmelsum

The German inland port of Emmelsum (Lippe region) has acquired its third container crane, a 50t SWL unit made by Peiner AG that can handle two barges moored alongside each other. “We expect to increase our capacity by 30% with the new crane,” said Heiko Feuchthofen, who manages the container terminal for Jerich Germany GmbH.
