Although nothing will be known for sure until a bankruptcy court review is held in early October, France-based Gaussin SA is hoping to save the materials handling equipment side of its business – port and industrial trailers, “movers,” self-propelled vehicles etc – on the basis of a number of new orders booked since it went into receivership (see WorldCargo News, March 2001, p2).
